Agreement to Terms
By using our services at MCF Montclair Fence Builders, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with any part of these terms, please don't use our services. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and we'll notify you of any major changes.
Services We Provide
We provide professional fence installation, repair, and replacement services for residential and commercial properties in Montclair, CA and surrounding areas. All services are subject to availability and proper scheduling. We'll do our best to meet your timeline, but sometimes weather or material availability can affect our schedule.
When you request a quote, it's an estimate based on the information you provide. The final price may change if we discover additional work is needed once we start the project. We'll always discuss any changes with you before moving forward.
Your Responsibilities
You're responsible for making sure we have clear access to the work area. This includes moving any personal items, pets, or obstacles that might be in the way. You also need to get any required permits or HOA approvals before we start work. We can help guide you through this process, but ultimately it's your responsibility.
Please make sure your property boundaries are clearly marked. If there's any question about property lines, you may need to hire a surveyor before we can start installation.
Payment Terms
We typically require a deposit before starting work. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the project. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. If payment is not received within 30 days of completion, we reserve the right to charge interest on the outstanding balance.
Warranties and Guarantees
We stand behind our work. We offer a workmanship warranty on all installations. Material warranties vary by manufacturer and will be explained to you before we start. If something goes wrong due to our installation, we'll make it right.
Our warranty doesn't cover damage from extreme weather, accidents, or normal wear and tear over time. It also doesn't cover issues caused by changes you or others make to the fence after we install it.
Limitation of Liability
We take great care with every project, but we're not responsible for pre-existing property damage, underground utilities you didn't mark, or issues beyond our control. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for our services.
Cancellations and Changes
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know as soon as possible. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before your scheduled appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee. If materials have already been ordered for your specific project, you may be responsible for those costs.
